You Are Not Lost. You Just Need to Create the Ultimate List
I am convinced that we all have something we are in dire need to do or try. We might feel a little confused and void from time to time but, deep down, we know what keeps us going and things we want to try. The other day, my friend and I had a discussion. She went on and on about the daring things she needed to do. It was exciting listening to her. Plus, she did seem happy about all of it. Days later, I thought, why don’t we create a bucket list- a list of things to do before we leave this world.
The good thing about this list is that it consists of everything that interests you-things you love. It may be pulling off a big prank on a total stranger or travelling the whole world. You enjoy, track and keep in touch with your values all at the same time! However, your life is not based on only this list. It is put in place to keep you on track.
How to create a bucket list
- Get a pen and a book (preferably your journal). I am very much aware that it is an obvious step 😊
- List all of the things you have fantasized about or spontaneously found yourself doing. I mean thoughts that have kept you up till like 12–2 am in the morning (it can not only be fake romantic scenarios!!)
- Categorize them. I mean, who would not? Everything is so much better when put in order. You could categorize them as fun, travel, career, fun, and many more. The list is inexhaustible! :)
Voila! The list is ready. Share with family and friends if you want to.
It doesn’t matter if it’s long or an immediate goal. You can add, adjust or remove some items off the list if you do not want them. It is your list afterall. No pressure or age limit. Do not forget to do other spontaneous things too. Off to save the world from aliens and monsters😊. Till next time!
